Southampton House of Prayer (SoHOP) believes that Jesus is the hope for our city. We are dedicated to seeking Him in prayer. We will serve the church of Southampton by creating time and space for people to come and pray.

Everyone is welcome – church people who want to gather to pray with others for Southampton and beyond or who just want to spend exclusive time with God. We hope that those who are seeking God for the first time would also want to come.

Throughout the day and night, there will be a rota of people coming to pray.

During the day the House of Prayer will be open to everyone. In addition to those who have signed up to pray, there will be a small team of volunteers to welcome and help visitors.

During the night it will only be open to people who have signed up for specific times, to join in with the rhythm of intercession for Southampton and beyond.

SoHOP is organised by a community of Christians from a range of churches in Southampton, which is led by Richard and Kathy Pitt under the supervision of City Life Church. We are working in partnership with 24-7 prayer. We hope others will join our community so the House of Prayer can grow and stay open for longer.
